This page describes features which exist but are in a trial stage.

Tiling windows

Have multiple chat windows ("tiles") open side by side.

Tab + Enter       - New tile
Tab + Backspace   - Close tile
Tab + Left/Right  - Change tile
Tab + Up/Down     - Change channel

The current implementation allows for a maximum of three open tiles and a single layout.

A future implementation may involve custom layouts, more open tiles, tiles of variable size and the ability to move tiles around.

Hotkeys

In order to avoid hijacking commonly used keys, the interface uses the Tab key as a modifier; this might change in the future.

Tab + U  - User settings
Tab + R  - Room settings
Tab + L  - List of rooms
Tab + J  - Join a channel
